Dear Parishioners of St. Elizabeth Seton,
In our renovated church we will be introducing our first “Information Center.” We are using the interior lobby entrance off the west parking lot doors, to design an information cove where we will be adding racks, a small welcoming table and information board that will share the many happenings at St. Elizabeth Seton.
The “Information Center” is designed to highlight the many organizations and happenings at St. Elizabeth Seton. Brochures, flyers, reading materials and occasional applications for membership in our many clubs and societies can be found in this special area. The table is moveable to allow greeters welcome fellow parishioners either before or after mass to browse the materials found there.
Our hope is that this area gets used frequently as new materials and announcements can be posted and picked up after daily or weekend masses. It is just one more way to connect with both long term and new parishioners to St. Elizabeth. It is not designed to collect items you wish to donate, or drop off reading materials that you are not interested in, but rather it will provide materials that have been pre approved for the distribution to the parish.
This area will be available to visit during our Open House scheduled on November 7, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. We are looking forward to opening wide the doors for you to see the many renovations you have supported and requested. During this Open House, those of you who have purchased the “God is Good” T-shirts are welcome to wear them with pride. In many ways, this is an important recognition of the hard work of the members of the Catholic Daughters of American who began this T-shirt drive to help pay for the renovations. They generously gave their proceeds to fund the renovation and wearing them is one way we can all say thank you for their hard work and dedication to St. Elizabeth Seton.
There are many of you who deserve thanks for your hard work. Donations have come from the St. Elizabeth Seton Trifecta Car Show, the Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Seton Ladies and so many of you. It is such a blessing to know that our parishioner colleagues have worked hard to make the renovation happen.
Work continues in the weeks to come. Restrooms, railings, sound proofing the confessionals and installing doors are just a few of the many projects before us. Let’s pray that the weeks ahead of us are productive and blessed with willing hands and open hearts.
